About

I am a sociologist and a memory studies scholar. I study collective memory, particularly in Russia. My research deals with different venues (offline and online) and issues in collective memory formation, but my special interest lies in the intersection of difficult pasts and illiberal politics.

Currently, I work as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Amsterdam. I am part of the Conspiratorial Memory project.

I am an active member of the Memory Studies Association and a co-founder of its Post-Socialist and Comparative Memory Studies Working Group.
